Shanghai Suzy was a major sponsor of our most recent Mum Squad events in Melbourne and Sydney. All our attendees went home with a hot new lip shade. For those who missed out I wanna show you what Shanghai Suzy is all about by showing you their latest collection Cocktails at Sunset.
Who is Shanghai Suzy???
Shanghai Suzy is a Melbourne based lipstick-only cosmetics brand with a bold and bright range of seasonal, limited edition lipsticks.
The lipstick brand was founded by Joanna, a former cosmetics marketing exec who was sick of paying $30 + for fashionable lipstick colours that she only wore a few times. She is filling the gap in the market with affordable, on-trend lipsticks that smell utterly divine. With scents ranging from strawberry fields to grape bubblegum and prices set at $14.95 Shanghai Suzy is the perfect, price savvy partner for your lipstick obsession.
Shanghai Suzy lipsticks are not tested on animals and are vegan-friendly (they contain no animal-derived ingredients).
Shanghai Suzy release seasonal limited edition ranges with their latest collection is called ‘Cocktails at Sunset’ The colours range from light to bright and there will be a colour that everyone loves in this collection.
The whole range is made with a whipped matte formula which gives great coverage and colour! Each tube smells delish and opens with a ‘pop-up’ press. Did I mention they are only $14.95 ?
Here’s a swatch of each colour to give you an idea of how they look on my lilly white arm…
And here they are on me…
Miss Bianca and Miss Louise are both very light. They would look amazing on a gorgeous bronzed babe.
Miss Chloe is a lovely light toffee shade that would work well with a smokey eye.
Miss Jess is a 70’s pop-tastic pink that would really rock with thick cats eye liner and falsies.
Miss Andrea is awesomely orange and suits my everyday style.
Miss Fiona falls somewhere between pink and red and I LOVE IT! This has been one of my go to colours for day or night.
Miss Claire is a gorgeous bright red that really packs a punch. I like to let red do the talking and keep eyes fairly neutral. Although a full dark eye could really ramp up the vamp factor of this colour.
I hope you love Shanghai Suzy as much as I do.
Stay stylish. Kiss, kiss. xx
