There was a buzz in the air for the offical launch of The Mum Squad and because it’s Melbourne there was a bucket load of rain and wind in the air too.

The Mum Squad

100 mums managed to escape their kids in time to make it to our Bad Moms screening at The Palace Cinema.  Some came in cabs, some came in their people movers and one group of genius mums even came in a limo!! Now that was good thinking ladies!

event pics 3That’s a line people!  We have become Mum door bitches!  Life goals achieved.

We had EEEEPPPPPPIIIIICCCCC goodie bags to hand out and Tegan and Erin managed to ensure every mum had their gorgeous goodies.  A big sloppy mum kiss goes to all our incredible sponsors Enbacci, Boe Professional, Feather and Noise, Charlee Girl, Sweet Memory Photography, Premium Spa , Rodney Clark, Ruby & Lilli and Palmers.

Then there was a chance to mingle, which is basically code for consume alcohol and speak about adult things.  With Champagnes and Cocktails in hand it was time for a quick speech and door prizes.  Congratulations to the ladies who walked away with Rodney Clark Vouchers, Ruby & Lilli Vouchers and a beautiful Enbacci Skin care pack.

The Mum Squad

A quick toilet stop before we all stepped into the movie.  Thank goodness the bladders were empty because this movie was F-U-N-N-Y!  Sooooooooo many relatable mum moments for all of us. There was cackling, snorting and even some whooping as our lives literally flashed before our eyes on screen.  The humour was so wrong that it was right and every mum in the cinema could relate to the scenarios playing out before us.  For those who haven’t seen it yet here is a trailer for Bad Moms.

After the movie there was time for drinks and chats as mums ducked off into the night for dinners, catch ups or to relieve the baby sitter.
